How to Make Pizza Margherita

  3. Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover and let it rise for at least 1 hour or until doubled in size.



Step 2: Assemble the Pizza

  1. Preheat your oven to the highest temperature (ideally 500°F or higher) and place a pizza stone inside.
  2. Roll out the dough into a thin, round shape.
  3. Spread the crushed San Marzano tomatoes evenly over the base.
  4. Tear fresh mozzarella into chunks and scatter over the pizza.
  5. Add fresh basil leaves and drizzle olive oil on top.

Step 3: Bake to Perfection

  1. Transfer the pizza onto the preheated stone.
  2. Bake for 7–10 minutes until the crust is golden and slightly charred.
  3. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a minute before slicing.
